It can be stated that for each stage of common political processes, there is a similar stage in student unions life, although on a smaller scale. The electorate is the students of a particular educational institution, various forms of representation are substituted by a single position, which is the president of the union, while the stage of working as a representative is the main stage of operation for student unions, i.e. providing support. Thus, it can be stated that similar skills are required for each stage in both politics and student unions. The development of such skills on a smaller scale prepares students for larger roles and greater responsibilities.
